The CrimpShield Running Vest features our proprietary 3D crimped-fiber technology, designed to trap warmth while releasing excess moisture. Its textured structure reduces direct skin contact to minimize the cold, clammy feeling after sweating, delivering lightweight insulation and breathable comfort during cold-weather runs.

Developed by NEDAO, CrimpShield features a three-dimensional crimped-fiber structure that creates lofted air pockets to trap warmth.

Its raised, textured surface reduces direct contact with the skin, helping minimize the cold, clammy feeling after sweating. The spaces between the crimped fibers also allow moisture to escape, supporting a drier, more comfortable feel during running.

Warmth That Holds Up in Damp Conditions

CrimpShield maintains strong insulating performance even when exposed to moisture, helping protect against the loss of warmth caused by sweat.

NEDAO laboratory testing recorded a CLO value of 0.59 in dry conditions and 0.54 in damp conditions, retaining over 90% of its measured thermal insulation.

Weighing approximately 197 g in Men's size M, the CrimpShield Running Vest delivers lightweight insulation with an efficient warmth-to-weight ratio.

According to NEDAO laboratory testing, CrimpShield achieves approximately 4.7 times the warmth-to-weight ratio of conventional fleece fabric under the tested conditions.

Breathable mesh zones at the chest and back promote airflow in areas where heat and moisture tend to build up, helping release excess heat during running.

A two-way front zipper allows quick ventilation without removing the vest, while an adjustable drawcord hem helps secure the fit and limit cold air entry.
